Today I wanted to introduce one of our great new preferred service providers, John VanHarn, owner of Master Service.
John was a pastor at a small church in Tulsa, and both he and his wife were missionaries in England. Years ago while in England, he met someone named Arthur Etheridge who went on to become his business partner. He suggested that John start an appliance repair business where Arthur would fix used appliances and John would sell them. They started in a garage in Jenks buying used appliances. Then, they became a Maytag dealer, and John's son took on HVAC repair. They transitioned into HVAC repair in about 2001, and they've been in more than 35,000 homes in Tulsa over 25 years!Recently, they've even taken on an electrical contractor's license, giving them an even broader scope of ways to help homeowners. As John says, their business is focused on helping people maintain their homes and quality systems within them at savings.
Relationships and great customer service are extremely important to Master Service.
John says Master Service has an established clientèle and that the business is still growing, so you don't have to worry about them trying to take advantage of anyone due to a lack of knowledge. "There's never been anyone that I've known of that's had an issue that we haven't answered and taken care of it and gone above and beyond," John says.
Check out MasterServiceTulsa.com for more information or check them out on their Facebook page, where they're very interactive with their clientèle.
