I'm here with Neil Dieterle, our team's staging and design expert. Neil helps all of our sellers by offering a one-hour consultation and staging before the home is even listed. Today, she'll answer a few questions about home staging.
Why is home staging so important?
Buyers see everything. They see possibilities for design and storage. They want to see the way that they might live in the home. Staging the home so that it appeals to the majority of buyers is a great way to get a winning offer. In fact, staged homes sell faster and for more money. We've seen many cases where we get a listing and the previous agent hadn't staged or sold the home. We then staged the property, and it sold!
What makes us different from other home staging companies?
We use what the owner already has in the home. We don't make you spend a lot of money on new furniture. You may have to paint, but in most cases homes are improved simply by decluttering and staging the property.
We are also starting a new program! Many clients who had Neil stage their property have requested that she help them decorate the new house. We will now offer home decorating advice for the new property as a closing gift to our buyer clients. We will help you decide on things like picture placement and furniture arrangement.
