Recently, we got a great question from a seller, and wanted to share the answer with you today. The seller asked us, "Besides staging and de-cluttering my home, what else should I do before putting it on the market?"

We've been thinking a lot about this, and have some good answers for you today. A home that may seem to be in great condition from the outside looking in can still have hidden defects, so we recommend that all our sellers have a pre-inspection done before they list their home.

It's a small investment that will add tremendous value to the buyer because everything that is wrong with the home has already been discovered and/or addressed before they even see it. When the buyer knows what's going on in advance, it also helps make the closing process easier and smoother.
