We, along with other agents across the country, donate a portion of every closing check to our own non-profit, Keller Williams Cares, which is designed to support associates and their families facing hardships. The charity is the heart of our companies culture in action finding and serving the higher
purpose of business through giving in the offices and communities where we live and work. KW Cares has helped associates around the country who are fighting serious illnesses and recovering from accidents, as well as after devastating tornados, floods and other natural disasters. ln 2013 alone, Keller Williams made grants totaling more than $2.5 million to family members and providing disaster relief.
Not only do Keller Williams associates contribute money in times of need we come together annually to give our time and talent to help our communities where they need it most. This awesome event is called RED Day, and it’s coming up Thursday, May 8. Not only is RED the color of the Keller Williams’ signs you seein yards, it’s an important acronym it stands for RENEW, ENERGIZE and DONATE.
This year, associates at our office have committed “Knocking out Hunger” by collecting thousands of pounds of food for the Food Bank of Oklahoma. We will be dropping off bags to designated neighborhoods on May 1st, retrieving them on May 8th and then delivering them to Guthrie Green, in downtown
