In fact, we recently had a great listing that had been on the market for nine days and had nine showings. Despite all of that activity, there were no offers. We talked to the seller because we knew it was important to get her home sold. We recommended adjusting the price by just $5,000.

When you sell your home, the most activity you will see generally takes place during the home’s first two weeks on the market.
If you have a lot of activity in the first 10 days but no offers, then your home is not priced correctly for the market. If you don’t have much activity at all in the first 10 days, that also means you have missed the mark on price.
Whether a home sells or not always depends on the price.

It’s always best to price your home correctly from the start.
That was last Friday. The seller agreed to the price adjustment. On Sunday, we had an offer, and by Monday, the offer was finalized and the seller is heading to the closing table.
That story proves how important it is to price your home correctly from the start in order to sell it. It’s also important to pay attention to buyer activity and feedback on your home.
