Today I'm happy to be joined by my friend Julie Woolslayer, owner of Great Day Moving. About two years ago, Julie and her husband were both going through a career transition and looking at other opportunities, and they came across Great Day Moving.

Julie had three tips for moving that she likes to offer to customers:
- Prepare, prepare, prepare: Even if it's a year in advance and you know you're going to move, start planning! Think about what you'll pack and what you'll get rid of.
- Hire a truly professional company: Look at all the documentation and disclosures, their insurance policies, and damage policy so you know what you're getting ahead of time. Make sure all questions are answered before moving day.
- Be present for the whole moving process: You should be available for the movers if they have questions. Don't plan a trip or doctor's appointment that day!
