Thanks for joining me today, everyone! We are back here once again with Randi Wright with Cityscape Home Mortgage, who is going to talk to us today about the importance of getting a pre-approval when you decide to purchase a home.

When you go to get pre-approved, the lender is going to ask you for a large amount of information. Bank statements, pay stubs, and W-2's are all things that a lender needs to determine if you will be able to afford a home purchase, and the subsequent payments.

Depending on your specific situation, they may need more information from you or less. At Cityscape Home Mortgage, they will let you know what you need to bring to their office in advance. This way you can rest easy knowing that no surprises are coming.
